Energy Transition Research Institute


The Energy Transition Research Institute was founded for scientific and education purposes and is registered as a tax exempt public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States (see 990-EZ 2010 and 990-EZ 2011). Based in Annapolis, Maryland, Entri encourages and facilitates international collaboration to promote conservation and protection of natural resources, including promotion of energy efficiency and mitigation of climate change.

Entri is governed by a board of directors and managed by a professional staff. Directors and managers are all internationally known experts in energy and environmental science, technology, and policy. Funding has been provided by the following organizations:
