Barbara Finamore is a member of the Entri board of directors.

She founded and directed the Beijing-based China Program for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), building that program into a 25-member team engaged in promoting innovative policy development, capacity building, and market transformation. Her work in China has involved climate change, energy efficiency, green buildings, advanced energy technologies, environmental law, public participation, open information, environmental health, and responsible sourcing.

Barbara has thirty years of experience in environmental law and energy policy, having focused on China for nearly two decades. She has also worked in nuclear nonproliferation. She formerly served at the U.S. Departments of Justice and Interior, and for the United Nations Development Programme and the Center for International Environmental Law. Finamore was President and Chair of the Professional Association for China's Environment (PACE), and is the co-founder and President of the China-U.S. Energy Efficiency Alliance, a nonprofit organization and public-private partnership that works with China to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency.

She holds a J.D. degree with honors from Harvard Law School.
